Go Fly a Kite

Hi, I just wanted to say that this photo is really gorgeous; the colors are amazing. I was wondering if you had tried or considered kite aerial photography? I was reading about it in MAKE magazine; the construction of the camera apparatus would be the most difficult part. I would guess the landscape in your area would be very well suited to the medium. Suzanne, I'd love to do the kite aerial photography, and it would have been amazing on this hike or at the Spiral Jetty. However, mountain winds are treacherous and that kite hit the ground pretty hard so I'm a little leary of sending a camera up there. I'm going to have to look into it though.
