Saving on a Splurge

If I had unlimited amounts of time and money, I would most certainly be a spa junky. Unfortunately, I typically don't have enough of either time of money, and when I do have substantial amounts of one, I typically have very, very little of the other.

In the meantime, I make do with student clinics. There are all sorts of schools out there that specialize in massage and other spa treatments offering treatments by their students at very low rates. Last weekend I had a facial and peel for $55. The first year I moved back to Salt Lake I had massages every few weeks for $25.
