Holy Shit

Well, Izzy had massive amounts of serious surgery on Tuesday, and the most amazing thing has to be that she up and started walking today.

I think it had to be because I shaved her hair today so that the giant patch the vet shaved wouldn't look so freaky. If I had me coming after me with razors, I'd probably stand up and try to get the hell out of the way too. Of course, I didn't just have a disc removed from my back.

Jen, I had no idea! Wow poor izzy. Your blog all of a sudden updated like 12 entries on my bloglines, so I missed this. How sad and scary. It is good to hear she is up and walking around. My mother recently went through this with her doxie. He looked like frankenweinnie for a while, and walked like a drunk. But now you can't even see his scar and he is at about 90%. Dogs are resilient creatures, but oh so precious to us. As soon as my mom's dog was injured we put our bed on the floor, to stop Vito from leaping off it. Anyway love to izzy and boo and you too! if you have any questions or need someone to chat with about this whole back thing I can give you my mom's email. And I am always around too!
