To use this site, you will need to know about a few options you have as you read and do activities.
On each page, you will have a menu with the following choices:

Summary: The summary tool gives you an outline of the chapter and what you need to know. |

Concept Map: The concept map tool provides a summary of the chapter in a picture form. It shows how things are related. |

Take a Note: The take a note tool lets you take a note about what you are reading or draw a picture for later. |

Hear It: The hear it tool will read the text to you to help you follow along. |

Print It: The print it tool lets you print out your reading so that you can read it away from the computer and take notes on it. |

Links and Resources: The links and resources tool provides extra links to help you understand the material. |
You can also click on the red words to find out the definition, and you can click on the pictures in the text for a description about them. Use these tools as you read the material if you need some additional help or want to find out more. At the end of the reading, you will have a choice of several activities that will use what you learned in the reading.
